The Butterly Cottages Association won the Prime Super Community Group of the Year Award at the WA Regional Achievement and Community Awards held at the Perth Convention Centre. The Association, a community based organization that builds independent living accommodation for older people in Toodyay, was represented by President Jim Short, Vice President Tina Short, Treasurer Paul Sutton and Secretary Jo Sutton, along with one of the founder members, Shirley Patten, who was instrumental in starting off the whole concept.
