This Day in History: 2003-02-27

An archaeological dig was undertaken on the site of the old cottage that was demolished to make way for the new Chemists’ shop, next to Wendouree Tearooms, Stirling Terrace, Toodyay. Mike Doyle co-ordinated the programme, which was supervised by archaeologist Gaye Nayton. The finds were lodged in the Old Gaol Museum, in Toodyay.
