This Day in History: 2000-04-14
A meeting of about 30 young people discussed the needs and interests of youth in Toodyay. About 20 of them (aged 12 to 17) then formed the Toodyay Youth Advisory Council (YAC). The new group was supported by the Toodyay Police, Toodyay Youth Life Centre, Avon Youth Services, the Shire of Toodyay and interested community members.
