This Day in History: 1999-10-09

The 146^th (actually the 141^st) Toodyay Agricultural Show, held in the Toodyay Showgrounds, was opened by Ted Bull of the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC) service. Fireworks were presented for the first time. Charles Wroth was the President of the Toodyay Agricultural Society and Kerry Knowles was the new Secretary/Treasurer.
