This Day in History: 1999-04-28

The Patron of the Toodyay Historical Society, Dr. Rica Erickson, was made the Society’s first Honorary Life Member. The certificate was presented to her in July by President Jack Hammer and Treasurer Len Leeder.

The Toodyay Op Shop was made a Benefactor Honorary Life Member of the Society, in recognition of the support it had given to the Society and to other organisations in the Toodyay district. Shirley Patten accepted the certificate on 22 June.
