This Day in History: 1997-06-29

Three new Justices of the Peace for Toodyay-Bolgart area were commissioned: Brian McGill (farmer and member of Rural Watch), Brian Rayner (manager of the Toodyay Post Shop), and Peter Maughan (proprietor of Toodyay Traders). They received their certificates from the Governor Major-General Michael Jeffery at Government House, Perth, WA.
