This Day in History: 1997-01-26

Shirley Patten and Andrew O’Sullivan were awarded the Senior and Junior Toodyay Citizen of the Year Awards, respectively, held at an evening event on Australia Day in the Toodyay Showgrounds. Ashley Grundy was awarded the Sportsperson of the Year. Jennifer Scott was the Australia Day Co-ordinator. Les Hoft was the compere.
