1987 January circa: Broadgrounds Caravan Park, the second caravan park in Toodyay, had recently opened. Owned and run by Harry and Margaret Hatfull, it was located adjacent to the Toodyay Racecourse, 5 km from town, off Racecourse Road, with 16 powered and 9 unpowered sites.
