This Day in History: 1995-08-02

1995 August 1-11: For the first time, Toodyay Scouts had attended a World Jamboree. Venturer Leader Mac MacCormack, Venturer Bill (Cobber) McCormack, Scout Adam Pearce, and Ranger Guide Kathy McCormack attended the 18th World Scout Jamboree held in Dronten, Holland. 28,000 Scouts and Guides took part, some attending from communist countries, for the first time.
