This Day in History: 1995-04-10

After renovations, the Toodyay Post Shop was opened in the interior of the original Toodyay Post Office on the corner of Stirling Terrace and Duke Street. Les Purser and Eric Patten cut the ribbons, as both had had long associations with the Post Office. An additional 660 private boxes had been added to the building. Brian Rayner was the Manager.
