This Day in History: 1995-02-09

A draft conservation report on the Toodyay Library building, on Stirling Terrace, had been prepared by R. McK. Campbell and I.H. van Bremen. Commissioned by the Toodyay Shire Council, with financial assistance from the Lotteries Commission, the objects of the report were to consider the implications of rebuilding the two caretaker’s rooms that had been recently removed from the back of the 1874 building, and to provide information to assist seeking financial assistance for such a project.
