This Day in History: 1994-09-30

1994 September 30-October 3: The Toodyay Folk Arts Festival was held, the 24th Festival run by the West Australian Folk Federation (WAFF), with the assistance of the Toodyay Folk Arts Festival promotion. The Fagans family folk group was a feature. A Songwriters’ Competition was held: the ‘Largie Fleay’ award for the best original song written for the Festival, with prize money donated by the Toodyay community. The attendance was not as large as was hoped.
