This Day in History: 1994-05-01

Toodyay Kindergym’s float, a colourful ‘garden’ with its bees, won first prize in the 10^th Moondyne Festival parade in Toodyay. Queen Bee was Sandi Evans. (The Kindergym logo is a bee.) Western Quarries Toodyay was one of the sponsors of the Festival.
