This Day in History: 1994-02-26
Late in February, the construction phase of the project to restore the Freemasons’ Hotel, Toodyay, was completed. The new style reflected the Federation Filigree style of the 1890s. The owners John and Stella Pearce had paint removed from the brickwork, the street verandah replaced by Seil Constructions, the parapet repaired and the bars restored. Toilets were upgraded.
