This Day in History: 1994-01-26

At the Australia Day celebrations at the Toodyay Showgrounds, Alan Wright, District Supervisor of the West Australian Ambulance Service, presented George Murray (Vice President) with a plaque and certificate in recognition of the Sub-Centre’s 50 years of service to the community. The recently purchased ambulance, a 1989 Mark IV, was on display, bringing to three the number of vehicles owned by the Sub-Centre. A series of articles compiled by Jack Hammer on the history of the Toodyay service commenced in the Toodyay Herald.
