This Day in History: 1993-11-25

The Lotteries Commission of WA had confirmed that approval had been given for a Lotteries Grant of up to $34,655.00 towards the cost of a Community Centre on Wallaby Way, Morangup, subject to the Shire of Toodyay providing an additional amount of $34,655, which was additional to a prevous grant of $60,000. The Council had signed a building contract with Spadaccini Bros. and work had commenced.
