This Day in History: 1993-07-01

1993 July: Students returned to the Toodyay District High School site at the start of Term 2. During the school holidays, the Building Management Authority and the Ministry of Education had constructed 10 demountable classrooms, an office, a toilet block, and extensive pathways to all buildings. Electricity, telephone, gas and water had been installed and a fence constructed around the building area. A temporary basketball court was to be constructed. Coral Grundy was the Chairperson of the Fundraising Committee.
