This Day in History: 1993-06-26

A series of events were held on this day in Toodyay to raise funds for The P & C Fire Relief Appeal.  A fete was held by the P & C behind the Freemasons’ Hotel in Toodyay, which raised almost $5,000. The Toodyay Yacht Club held its ball in the Toodyay Memorial Hall, donating its profits. A Blue Light Disco was held in Toodyay, after which Constable Paul Beveridge of the Toodyay Police donated the $1,000 raised.
