1993 May late: Various local Toodyay groups gave up their meeting places for two months to accommodate the Toodyay District High School students after the school fire on 23 May. The Uniting Chuch held its services in St. Stephen’s Anglican Church. The Moerlina Centre moved to the two front rooms of Butterly House. Toodyay Aerobics, run by Micky Rhodes, and Toodyay Kindergym were held at Avondown. The Toodyay CWA met in Parker’s Cottage in the Toodyay Showgrounds. The Brownies gathered in the old Telecom Depot on Clinton Street.
