This Day in History: 1992-12-08

Rev. Martin John Elvidge was commissioned as the Rector of the Anglican Parish of Toodyay/Goomalling by Bishop Brian Farran at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Toodyay. Martin, his wife Sheila and their 4-year-old granddaughter, Madeleine, took up residence in early December in Toodyay. Martin was previously the Rector of the Parish of Lynwood, Perth, WA, where he had served for 7 years.
