This Day in History: 1992-10-25

Dr. Stephen Hopper (Director, Kings Park and Botanic Gardens) unveiled the plaque for the fenced remnant Mottlecah (Eucalyptus macrocarpa) tree stand on Arthur North’s property ‘Strathavon’, Toodyay. The Toodyay Naturalists’ Club had received the fencing grant from the Gordon Reid Foundation, and provided the labour to build the fence.
