This Day in History: 1992-10-19

The official opening of new school extensions (an art centre, staff room, and administration block) at the Toodyay District High School was held in the covered assembly area. The Hon. Kim Chance MLC, Member for the Agricultural Region, officially opened the extensions by unveiling a plaque. Federal Senator Jim McKiernan closed the time capsule which was placed near the library (built the previous year). The time capsule was to be opened in 2001.
