This Day in History: 1991-06-12

The Bolgart Public Library and Public Information Service was officially opened as the 228th public library in WA, and the first to be located in a general store run by Ron and Ven Tinley. Lyn Allen, the State Librarian, Ron Davis, Director of Public Library and Lending Services and Sue Baldocchi, Manager of Public Loans Services, of the Library and Information Service of Western Australia, attended the ceremony.
