The 7th Moondyne Festival was held in Toodyay, amidst sunshine and cool breezes. The inaugural $5,000 Moondyne Hole-in-One competition was run by Toodyay’s St. John the Baptist Catholic Church members in the car-park area of the basketball courts. Dave Munckton won the prize for Nearest to the Pin (900mm). A Hotham Valley Tourist Railway train brought 900 visitors.
