This Day in History: 1991-02-09
By February, Ross and Mary Midgley had opened the Avondown Inn, providing overnight guesthouse accommodation in what was the original Convent of Mercy building on Stirling Terrace, Toodyay. Other buildings on the site, leased by the Midgleys, provided other types of accommodation. The Midgleys owned and managed the Toodyay Caravan Park.
