1990 September 28-October 1: The 20th W.A. Folk Festival, held on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend in Toodyay, was attended by several thousand visitors. The event was supported by Metro Brick, Bristile Ltd, and the business community of Toodyay. Eastern States performers, including Ted Egan and Margret Roadknight, were affected somewhat by air strikes. Attendance and takings were slightly down from last year.
