The Toodyay Shire Council endorsed the action of the Shire Clerk Robert Millar and the Principal Health/Building Surveyor Ron Woodward in following up the dumping/storage of over 30,000 surplus tyres in a gully tributary of the Avon River in the Shire of Toodyay. The Council’s solicitors and the Environmental Protection Authority were to stop the dumping, make the current situation safe and ensure the removal of the tyres.
