This Day in History: 1990-06-10

In spite of the winter weather, over 900 visitors came to Toodyay on Visitors Day on the Hotham Valley Steam Train. The event, organised by the Toodyay Tourist Centre, was Toodyay’s contribution to WA Week. The visitors enjoyed park picnics, band concerts, and an Art Show featuring the work of Ron McDonald, Elena Lumsdaine, Sylvia Skilling, Doreen Watson and others, in the Toodyay Memorial Hall.
