This Day in History: 1989-09-23

1989 September 23-24: During day trips on both days, the Flying Scotsman (No. 4472 LNER (London North East Railway)) and the Pendennis Castle (No. 4079 GWR (Great Western Railway)) steam trains travelled side by side between Northam and West Toodyay, then double-headed back to the East Perth Railway Terminal.
