This Day in History: 1988-11-26

The second stage of the Toodyay Naturalists’ Club’s Pioneers’ Arboretum was officially opened by Toodyay Shire President Bob Somers, who unveiled a plaque. The Arboretum, originally established in 1979, is located between Hamersley Street and the Standard Gauge Railway Line. An Australian Bicentennial project of the TNC, the extension is located between Henry Street West and the footbridge over the Standard Gauge Railway line.
