This Day in History: 1988-09-01

1988 September: The Rag Bags Patchwork Group received a Silver Medal under the Women Celebrate 88 program, for their Bicentennial Quilt, depicting historic buildings in Toodyay. The quilt was displayed in the Toodyay Public Library until 2009, when it was placed in storage whilst the Library was renovated and extended. It is now on display again in the Toodyay Public Library.
