This Day in History: 1987-09-25
1987 September 25-28: In spite of reports to that the West Australian Folk Federation (WAFF) had abandoned its Folk Festival in Toodyay that year, due to a perceived lack of local business support, the 17th WA Folk Festival was an enjoyable and busy weekend. Local comments indicated there was a different atmosphere this year, more orderly and more organised. Some thought there should be more folk music.
