This Day in History: 1987-02-28

Councillor J.C. ‘Mac’ Wroth launched the Toodyay Society’s Plaque Project at the Society’s rooms at 100A (later 96) Stirling Terrace (formerly Dr. O’Reilly’s surgery). The first three heritage building plaques were installed in the front garden areas of three buildings in Stirling Terrace: W.G. Leeder’s House owned by Rob Lang; James Martin Cottage owned by George and Kath Carr; and a shop with attached residence owned by Peter and Robyn Webb.
