This Day in History: 1986-05-28

The Shire of Toodyay hosted a meeting of the state Roadside Vegetation Conservation Committee to discuss the operation of the Shire Council’s by-laws for the protection of road verges in the Shire. The by-laws were considered, at that time, the model for that type in the State. Toodyay Naturalists’ Club members attended the meeting to help explain the by-laws.
