This Day in History: 1985-01-19

In January or February 1985,  the Catholic Education Commission took over the Catholic Convent and former St. Aloysius boarding school from the Sisters of Mercy, in Stirling Terrace, Toodyay. The site had been used as a camp for city children in the previous ten years. Initially, the site was put up for sale.
