1984 January-March: The bitumen paths in Stirling Terrace, Toodyay, were replaced with 3,200 sq m. of antique silver paving bricks supplied by the Midland Brick Company. It was one of the biggest paving jobs outside the metropolitan area, employing nine people for 20 weeks and costing $85,000. Funds had been obtained from the Community Employment Programme.
