This Day in History: 1983-05-16

At the Toodyay Shire Council meeting, it was announced that Miss Dawn Atwell had kindly donated to the Toodyay Agricultural Society a wooden seat, of the style outside the Toodyay Post Office, in memory of her father Frank Atwell, who was a great supporter of the Society. Dawn’s request that the seat be placed under the verandah of the Toodyay Sports Pavilion on the Toodyay Showgounds was approved.
