The Toodyay Co-operative Company Ltd. closed. The business and store was bought by Ted and Sandy Kennedy. The Toodyay Co-op grocery store lines had ceased earlier in 1975. Pierre Lambrinidis had been the Co-op manager for the last 7 years.
