This Day in History: 1981-12-19

1981 December 19-24: Five days of carols occurred in Toodyay. On Saturday the 19th, the Uniting Church loaded up a bus of carollers to visit the elderly and others in the town. On Sunday the 20th, a carol service was held in St. Stephen’s Anglican Church. On Monday the 21st, an evening of carols was held at the CWA Hall. On Tuesday the 22nd, a candlelit carols and communion service was held at St. Philip’s Anglican Church, Culham. On Christmas Eve the 24th, three services were held, at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Uniting Church.
