This Day in History: 1981-10-14

Governor Rear-Admiral Sir Richard Trowbridge, KCVO, and Lady Anne Trowbridge, visited the Toodyay District High School. They then met representatives of local service clubs and community organisations at a Shire Council reception in the Shire Chambers, Fiennes Street. The Councillors later entertained the Vice Regal couple at dinner at the Freemasons’ Hotel, Stirling Terrace.
