This Day in History: 1981-08-17

The Toodyay Shire Council decided to contact the Minister for Fisheries and Wildlife concerning ways of prohibiting the clearing of former Wundowie Iron and Steel land in the Morangup area. The land was owned by Jimwa Pty. Ltd, having purchased it from Agnew Clough Ltd.
