This Day in History: 1980-10-20

The Toodyay Lions Club suggested to the Toodyay Shire Council that improvements were required (particularly toilets) to the Duidgee Park picnic area near the ‘Bolgart Bridge’ (then named the Avon River Bridge, and later changed to Newcastle Bridge).
