This Day in History: 1979-10-07

The Charlotte Davis Memorial Seat was unveiled at Newcastle Park, Toodyay. On the memorial is a granite stone in the shape of WA, from the property of donor Walter G. (Wally) Chitty. The unveiling coincided with a Davis family reunion.
