This Day in History: 1979-07-17

The Toodyay Shire Council appointed Jenny Allen as the new Curator at the Old Gaol Museum in Clinton Street. The position now included an annual honorarium of $500. Jenny replaced Pam Masters who had been acting Curator since the resignation of the Rev. Hugh McGuiness earlier that year.
