This Day in History: 1976-04-03

The Hon. Alan Ridge, M.L.A., opened the restored Connor’s Mill and the Toodyay Tourist Centre newly located on the ground floor. Senator Tom Drake-Brockman and other special guests were present. The Toodyay Shire Council and the Toodyay Tourist Centre were joint hosts. The Mill had been restored by grants totalling $16,000 from the National Estate funding and a donation from the O’Connor Quinlan Estates.
