This Day in History: 1972-01-23
On Sunday, there was an unusual sight of two trains going through Toodyay side by side, in the same direction. Recent cleaning up work and removal of dangerous rocks on the Horseshoe Hill and Windmill Hill Cuttings had left debris clogging the railway track. The two train convoy consisted of a rack of wagons and an excavator with a dragline bucket to load the debris.
