This Day in History: 1970-10-23

The status of the Goonaring and Beelaring Springs Reserves on the Toodyay Road at Morangup was changed from ‘Watering and Stopping Places for Teams’ to ‘Conservation of Flora and Fauna’ and vested in the Western Australian Wildlife Authority.
