This Day in History: 1968-08-19
The Toodyay Naturalists’ Club reported to the Toodyay Shire Council its interest in the reserve at the rear of the Council Chambers on Pelham Street ie the water and rifle range reserve. The Council agreed to investigate its suitability as a flora and fauna reserve, and later found the land had combined vesting for the purposes of Water Supply, Public Utility, Wesleyan Glebe, Presbyterian Church and Rifle Range.
