1966 February: A new 500,000 gallon concrete water reservoir costing £17,000 had recently been completed on Reservoir Hill (ie Mt. Pelham) in Toodyay. The new tank was 100 ft. higher than the previous tank. Improvements to the Goldfields Water Supply Scheme pipeline from Northam were being undertaken at the Toodyay end.
