This Day in History: 1965-10-06

1965 October: Some Toodyay Shire Councillors, Chamber of Commerce representatives and others attended a function held at Industrial Extracts factory site, Toodyay, to witness the presentation of an export award to the firm. This award, the only one awarded in W.A., was donated by the Federated Chambers of Commerce to the firm who had maintained and improved its exports in the last year. Mr. L.F. Hooker was the factory manager.
